For Anyone who comes across any kind of search on this: Unless you are significantly gifted with computers I recommend staying away from DBAN. However if the operating system of your choice is incompatible with the specific hardware due to a lack of driver support etc then it is your problem not Dells. The probability that you will only happen to see previous files in C:Windows if you recreate C:Windows is next to zero and if it happened to you tell me that something else happens without you exploring it.
